"Aoife" owned by long-time SKOC members, Shelly Campbell & Mark Antonini, has been honoured as a Top Ten All-Breed Dog in Canada in two separate disciplines.
At the end of 2021, Aoife with Shelly handling, was honoured by CKC as #6 All-Breed Top Rally Dog In Canada. Aoife was also ranked #4 in Sporting Group and #1 NSDT Retriever during 2021.
Aoife and Shelly ended 2024 with another CKC Top Dog In Canada Award. #5 All--Breed Top Obedience Dog in Canada. Again, Aoife was also #4 Sporting Group Dog and #1 NSDT Retriever.

At the 2024 National Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Specialty in BC, Aoife and Shelly qualified in the top level field event (WCX), qualified in both Open B & Utility B Obedience with two High In Class awards as well as the High In Trial Award and finished the week with Overall Field Class Winner and an Award of Merit in the Conformation ring out of a total of 110 Tollers competing! Aoife and Shelly were awarded The Fair Dinkum Versatility Award recognizing their accomplishments in all three venues, first female toller to ever win this special award and at the top levels of all three categories - 12 points earned out of 12 points available!! Congratulations Shelly and hope you are giving Aoife an extra treat for her great work.

Erika Quiring and Hawk
ECC Hawk is a certified Human Remains Detection dog and with his handler, Erika, is part of two search and rescue teams, Saskatoon Search and Rescue (SSAR) here in Saskatoon, and Search and Rescue Dog Association of Alberta (SARDAA). This team certified in the fall of 2025 and have already assisted with several searches for missing persons. It is notable that Hawk is the first single-purpose human remains detection dog in Saskatchewan! Hawk and Erika are working toward additional certifications in shoreline and water search to expand capabilities.

Hawk followed the progression of obedience training offered at the SKOC, and is enthusiastic about obedience and rally obedience, as well as any other activity that gets thrown at him. Hawk is registered with the Canadian Border Collie Association, the primary registry for working border collies in Canada, and he also has a CKC Event Number which will allow this team to trial in CKC events... another goal!
